Adam Milford

Adam Milford is the Senior Engagement and Learning Officer for The Box – Plymouth’s new £46m museum, gallery and archive and a beacon of regeneration for the city. Adam’s role is to help create a space for people to engage with our collections and programmes and to champion cultural democracy. To do this, he works across various audiences and outputs, including the production of ‘The Box on Screen’, our digital series hosted on YouTube, schools projects such as the V&A Design Lab Nation partnership, city-wide networking with the Plymouth Cultural Education Partnership and community engagement and exhibition curation with Plymouth After Dark. Over the last two years, Adam has written and produced 10 family trails for The Box, working with the artist and illustrator Neasden Control Centre. Within these trails we introduce children to some big questions from the world around them, such as climate change, protest and wider issues around social justice.
