Cllr James Stoneman

Cllr James Stoneman has been the city councils Cabinet Member for Climate Change and Governance since March 2022. He is passionate about net zero and he understands the urgent need to reach the city’s goal of net zero by 2030.  

James’ priorities are looking at our biggest emitters in the city, housing, and transport, and trying to seek solutions so they reduce their emissions further and all sectors play their part. Furthermore, his key priority is engaging with groups and organisations to try and get buy in and get people across the city on board with the message and goal.
