Emma Whittaker

Emma is a producer of mixed reality experiences, she lectures in arts, media and design at the University of Plymouth and is currently the Creative Industries Research Fellow for the EDRF funded project, Low Carbon Devon. Her research is concerned with the philosophies and practices of narrative, experience and perception. Her academic writing covers topics including, aesthetics, ambient literature, narrative complexity, sound design for narrative worlds, engagement with the earth, belief and presence.
